Lines and wrinkles develop for several different reasons. Repeated facial expressions create lines in areas like the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes. At the same time, our skin gradually produces less collagen and elastin, and changes in sun exposure, hormones, hydration, and facial volume can make lines more noticeable.
That’s why we don’t treat every wrinkle the same way. The first step is figuring out why the line is there.
Sometimes—but not always. Botox and other neuromodulators (Jeuveau, Dysport, Xeomin, Daxxify, etc...) work especially well for lines caused by muscle movement, such as forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet.
Lines caused by changes in skin quality, volume loss, or facial structure may respond better to treatments such as skincare, resurfacing, filler, or collagen-stimulating treatments. Often, the most natural result comes from combining approaches rather than relying on one treatment.
It shouldn’t. Our goal is to soften the movements that are creating unwanted lines while preserving natural expression.
We would much rather have someone say, “You look great!” than ask, “Did you get Botox?”
Some lines can improve dramatically, but perfectly smooth skin isn’t necessarily the goal—or realistic.
We’re usually aiming for skin and features that look healthier, softer, and more refreshed, while still looking like you.
Perfect. You don’t need to.
