I’ve been a physician and surgeon for more than 20 years, and my career has taken me through many different areas of medicine—from general and acute care surgery to breast surgery, vein care, aesthetics, and teaching the next generation of physicians.
I attended Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City and returned home to Colorado to complete my general surgery residency at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver. I later spent seven years teaching surgical residents, an experience I loved because it required me not only to know what I was doing, but to be able to explain the why behind it.
Over the years, I’ve cared for patients in private practice, hospitals, surgical centers, and community settings. I’ve also had the privilege of serving in physician leadership roles, speaking and teaching nationally, participating in research, and traveling to Uganda as part of a surgical mission team.
Today, my work at Northpoint brings together the parts of medicine I’ve loved most throughout my career: solving problems, teaching, building relationships, and taking care of people over time.

My treatment philosophy is simple: treat the person, not the procedure.
I want to understand what’s bothering you, what matters to you, and what you’re hoping to accomplish before I ever recommend a treatment.
My job is to educate you, explain your options honestly, and help you make a thoughtful decision—not to sell you something.
I believe in natural results, thoughtful planning, and doing only what makes sense. Sometimes that means combining treatments. Sometimes it means doing less. And sometimes the best recommendation is to do nothing at all.
Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and confident that I’m giving you the same advice I would give someone I love.

I think I’m especially good at combining technical skill with a warm bedside manner. I’ve always believed that being a great surgeon means more than being good in the operating room—it means listening well, explaining things clearly, and remembering that the person sitting across from me may be scared, embarrassed, or simply trying to figure out what to do next.
I also have a particular knack for sclerotherapy and vein care. It’s an area where experience, patience, and a good eye really matter, and after years of treating veins, it’s something I genuinely love.
And finally, I love to teach. Whether I’m teaching residents, other medical professionals, or my own patients, I’m good at taking something complicated and making it understandable. I want my patients to leave knowing not just what I recommend, but why.

Aesthetic Consultations and treatment planning - I especially enjoy working with first-timers! I love introducing people to the art of subtle aesthetics.
Skin tone and texture overhaul - this combines microneedling, peels, medical-grade skincare and lasers. You can change an entire face without ever using tox or filler.
Neurotoxin - the gateway... its just amazing.
Sclerotherapy - my favorite treatment of all
Anything with a laser!

I love Northpoint because we have the freedom to take care of people the way they should be cared for. We have time to listen, answer questions, build relationships, and recommend what’s actually right for the person in front of us—not what we need to sell that day.
I’m proud that people can walk through our doors and feel known, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
Plus, I’m the boss and I built this place, so I’m very proud of it!

Outside of work, I’m a wife and mom, and my family is the center of my world. We’ve called Colorado home for many years, and I love spending time with family and friends, being involved in my church, traveling, cooking, and tackling whatever slightly ridiculous project my kids and I have dreamed up next. We also have a sweet Bernedoodle named Bruno who is a very important member of the family.
I’m naturally curious and love learning, traveling, baking, building things, and having really good conversations. I’m probably happiest around a table with people I love—preferably with good food and lots of laughing.
