Meet The Team

Linda L. Johnson

DNP, WHNP-BC

Nurse Practitioner of Women's Health

I have been in nursing for over 40 years and have always had a love for women's health care and educating men and women about reproductive and sexual health.

I was a music major until I found my love for nursing. I started my nursing career as an LPN and continued going back to school to advance my education. I graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and earned my Master’s in Nursing Science from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2003.

Ten years later, I returned to school once more and earned my Doctorate in Nursing Practice, specializing as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus in 2015.

Today, I focus on helping patients understand their health, navigate hormonal and reproductive changes, and make informed decisions throughout their health span.

About My Practice:

My Treatment Philosophy

I treat everyone as a unique individual and provide holistic, current, evidence-based, quality health care within my scope of practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Women's Health. My hope is that our time together results in improved personal vitality, energy and overall well-being.

What Patients Can Expect:

I build rapport with patients easily to gain their trust as a health care clinician before making treatment decisions.

At your first appointment, I will assess your comprehensive medical history and then we decide together on which forms of hormone replacement will benefit you the most. We include discussions on exercise, risks and benefits of HRT, your personal body composition, nutrition and overall metabolism.

My Favorite Treatments

  • Perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms, including:

  • Hot flashes

  • Fatigue and loss of energy

  • Low libido

  • Weight gain and difficulty with weight loss

  • Brain fog

  • Joint discomfort

  • Hormonal and life-cycle changes

Why Northpoint?

I enjoy working at Northpoint because of the people that are already there, especially Dr. Ciocchetti!

She provides an atmosphere that is professional with up-to-date, evidence-based information, while including a personal touch for each individual patient.

The philosophy about aesthetics is realistic about what can be achieved for individuals.

I love the energy to be the best you can be and how Dr. Ciocchetti provides opportunities for us, as she creates her business model.

What Patient Can Expect

I build rapport with patients easily because I believe trust is an important first step in health care.

I want to provide a safe space where people can talk openly and provide a comprehensive health history without feeling judged.

I enjoy talking with women and men about life-cycle changes and helping patients understand what is happening within their bodies. My goal is to educate, listen, and help patients evaluate their overall nutrition, exercise, hormonal changes, symptoms, and metabolism as part of their overall wellness.

Treatment Philosophy

My treatment philosophy is to treat everyone as a unique individual and provide holistic, current, accurate, and quality health care within my scope of practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Women's Health.

I believe all people should be educated about their reproductive health just like any other system in their bodies.

I focus on health span, not just life span—helping patients understand their health and work toward being the best they can be.

For women experiencing perimenopause and menopause, I help patients understand their symptoms and discuss appropriate options, including hormone replacement therapy when appropriate.

I also work with patients who have struggled with weight loss and want to better understand how nutrition, lifestyle, metabolism, and newer medical options may fit into their overall health journey.

Why Northpoint?

I enjoy working at Northpoint because of the people who are already here, first and foremost Dr. Ciocchetti.

She creates an atmosphere that is professional and focused on up-to-date information while still maintaining a personal touch with each individual patient.

I also appreciate Northpoint’s realistic approach to aesthetics and the energy around continually striving to be the best we can be.

I love that Dr. Ciocchetti creates opportunities for us as she continues to build the business and its model of care.

"My goal is to help you be the best version of yourself - and to keep moving forward!"
